As Christians, we don’t grow alone.  God’s plan for your spiritual growth is to connect with other believers. Take advantage of the Small Groups that are available at Shepherd to gather with others for Bible study, prayer and fellowship!

The people of Shepherd are people who pray! Join our Prayer Warriors today by praying the requests of our congregation through our prayer chain.

PRAYER CHAIN WARRIORS

PEOPLE WHO PRAY

Join the prayer chain!

You're invited to stand in the gap for our people and lift up praises and prayer requests on their behalf. Email prayers@sothpewaukee.org to add yourself to our prayer chain. Requests and praises can be sent to this email, as well. Requests and praises can also be submitted on the Connect Card in your pew OR on our website.

Want to pray, but wonder how to get started? Below is a trailer for a short, two session video study about Prayer by JD Greer called Just Ask on the RightNow Media platform. Shepherd has a subscription to this online library and this is one of MANY resources that are free for you to access. Here is the QR code (png attached to put on screens) to create a log in today.

RESOURCES

"WHAT SHOULD I STUDY?"

Great Question! Below you will find a number of recommendations from our Small Groups at Shepherd. Some books are available immediately.

We have a diverse library of options but before you consider our book list, think about opening "THE" book. Yes! The Bible. Jump into God's Word and see what He has for you. If you are new to study, lots of people like to start with the book of John, but you can start in any book that you choose. This is called Inductive Study.

Read a passage or section of scripture and follow these easy steps:

+  Observation (what does it say?)
+  Interpretation (what does it mean?)
+  Application (what does it mean for my life?)
