KEY HAPPENINGS

FOLLOW THE STAR: LIVE NATIVITY

We are excited to announce the return of Follow the Star, a special outdoor Christmas experience happening at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (backup date of Saturday, Dec 13th in case of inclement weather)

Guests are invited to follow our rustic, woodchipped path in the snow (don't forget your boots!) on the Northside of Shepherd. Step back in time and experience the Christmas story in a meaningful and interactive way. Along the way, visitors can wander through a lively Bethlehem market and even trade a coin for goods, meet live nativity characters and animals, and take in the beauty of the first Christmas night brought to life.

To bless families during this busy holiday season, we are also offering a complimentary handmade frozen pizza kit to take home and enjoy. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to pause, reflect, and celebrate the miracle of Christmas.

Thank you for considering a volunteer opportunity by clicking below.

The servant-hearts of our Shepherd people make this event special.
