We are SO excited to to host another Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack at Shepherd!

 

FMSC is a non profit organization that helps fight hunger worldwide. Our goal is to pack over 186,000 meals across 8 shifts and we need YOUR help! All it takes is a little energy and 2 hours of your time! Bring your family, friends, work group, scout or even school group. We have 800 spots to fill!

As we open our doors for the upcoming FMSC MobilePack, we want to offer a warm welcome to everyone entering our building. It takes a community to host an event this big, and we are looking for volunteers to join our host team!

Whether you love greeting guests, setting up behind the scenes, assisting on the floor, or helping with clean-up, there’s a spot for you.

It's fall y'all! Please join us in the fellowship of caring for our Shepherd grounds on a beautful Fall Saturday in October!

 

Please bring gloves, chainsaws, trimmers, pruners, wheelbarrow, rakes, and/or trailer if possible. Lunch will be provided so please sign up via the google form below so we can have your meal ready!

BLANKETS, BEDS & BLESSINGS

A Special Saturday of Service - Families serving Families!

Join us for a meaningful morning of service as we partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to provide children in need with a bed of their very own.

Our goal is to build and prepare 25 beds to be delivered to local families-complete with a new mattress and bedding. At the same time, we’ll be hosting a special So-Sew Saturday, where volunteers can learn sewing skills while creating handmade quilts for the beds.

And this morning is about more than building and sewing. We will be praying over the families who will receive these beds, the quilts being made, and each bed as it is prepared for delivery.

SO-SEW SATURDAY

Join us as we kickoff our first So-Sew Saturday of the season! Children ages 5 & up are invited to join us at Shepherd in the Fellowship Hall to learn how to sew. They will create beautiful quilts for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
