NEW MEMBER ORIENATION
Come learn more about Shepherd during our New Member Orientation. During our time, you will learn what it means to be part of our church family. Together we will talk about the history, vision, purpose and structure of Shepherd of the Hills.
You can expect a fun, interactive learning experience. As a group, you will also have the opportunity to make and enjoy Pastor Aaron's pizza!
FOLLOW THE STAR: LIVE NATIVITY
We are excited to announce the return of Follow the Star, a special outdoor Christmas experience happening at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (backup date of Saturday, Dec 13th in case of inclement weather)
Guests are invited to follow our rustic woodchipped path behind Shepherd, where they will step back in time and experience the Christmas story in a meaningful and interactive way. Along the way, visitors can wander through a lively Bethlehem market and even trade a coin for goods, meet live nativity characters and animals, and take in the beauty of the first Christmas night brought to life.
To bless families during this busy holiday season, we are also offering a complimentary handmade frozen pizza kit to take home and enjoy. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to pause, reflect, and celebrate the miracle of Christmas.
Thank you for considering a volunteer opportunity by clicking below. The servant-hearts of our Shepherd people make this event special.

SO-SEW QUILTS
Monday Afternoon Opportunities: September 15th through May 18th volunteers meet to sandwich quilts on Monday afternoons from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. We will not meet on 12/22, 12/29, and 4/6.
So-Sew Saturdays (10/4, 11/1, 12/13, 1/3, 2/7, 3/7, 4/11, 5/2): Children ages 5 & up are invited to So-Sew-Saturday.
With the help of adults, the children and youth will be designing, sewing, and ironing quilts. These quilts will be donated to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a local organization that builds beds and donates bedding to children in Waukesha County. Parents can drop children off or stay for the fun!
To date, the Shepherd family has worked together to create over 8800 quilts and wraps for 38 organizations both in our area and beyond. There are many opportunities to serve!
We would love for volunteers to join us on Monday afternoons as we prepare the quilts (no sewing experience required). Thanks for sharing your gifts!
