THANKSGIVING CHALLENGE

We are excited to continue our Thanksgiving tradition of gathering for worship service as we praise God for His promises and faithfulness. Our celebration includes a Pie Social after worship and most importantly, we continue the tradition of giving away 100% of our offering!

Over the years, Shepherd of the Hills has been blessed to help many different ministries near and far by giving away 100% of the offering from our Thanksgiving Worship Service. Shepherd people have been so generous and we are excited to have 3 different recipients this year.

Local Food Pantries of Pewaukee & Sussex

Shepherd annually supports our local community through the Pewaukee and Sussex Food Pantries and this year we are inviting you to help us do this in a bigger way! Sussex Area Outreach Services serves all families and individuals in the Hamilton School District, which includes Sussex, the Town of Lisbon, Lannon, and parts of Merton, Butler, and Menomonee Falls. Both food pantries have seen an increase in needs for this year. Both food pantries have seen an increase in needs for this year. For example, Sussex Area Outreach Services alone has served 460 families in over the past 10 months. The needs are great but our God is greater!

Through your support, the food pantries will be able to fill specific items of need at each location when shelves are empty and donations are low and continue supporting the growing number of people in need.

Feed My Starving Children
As a Christian nonprofit organization, Feed My Starving Children is called to feed God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. This means reaching the hard-to-reach people and places, the “least of these.” Through your support, we will host a mobile food pack in 2026 to help fund the ingredients and package over 100,000 meals to be donated to FMSC food partners around the world!

House of Hope - Madagascar
Over the past few years, God has worked through the people of Shepherd to help give hope to poor and orphan children in Madagascar. Through your continued generosity, 72 of these children now call House of Hope ‘home’. This year, we invite you to help us provide ‘daily bread’ for the children of House of Hope Madagascar—helping to ensure that these children receive the food, shelter, education and care they need each day. House of Hope - Madagascar (HOHM) is a non-profit Christian orphanage and school located in Ihosy, Madagascar. HOHM is a Christian center giving poor and orphan children access to quality education while building a relationship with their Heavenly Father, in the name of their Savior Jesus.

We simply ask you to prayerfully give as the Lord leads you.

If electing to give online, please select Thanksgiving Offering.
