KEEPING IN TOUCH

We are collecting addresses of college students with ties to Shepherd! If you know of a student and have an address, please share it using the link below.

Please fill out the following form with your college student's mailing address. From time to time we will send out care packages to our college students. Other times we will send letters simply to encourage them and let them know we are thinking about and praying for them. Thanks for sharing and helping us keep in touch!

A massive Praise God for an incredible week at VBS! We want to send a huge THANK YOU to all of our attending families and amazing volunteers who made it so special. We are so grateful for mostly great weather, safety for everyone, and the precious truth of Psalm 23 that was planted deep in so many young hearts. Check out all the fun in the highlight video above.

Children got to journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, while exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. This message helped teach how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.

Monday Weekly

So-Sew Mondays meets weekly from September - May. Volunteers meet to sandwich quilts on Monday afternoons (1pm-3pm).

There are many opportunities to serve! We would love for volunteers to join us on Monday afternoons as we prepare the quilts for our Kidz Konnection students to knot (no sewing experience required).

To date, the Shepherd family has worked together to create over 8800 quilts & wraps for 38 organizations both in our area and beyond.

From Sept-May our ladies meet to quilt on Monday afternoons; on Saturdays Children ages 5 & up are invited to So-Sew-Saturday. With the help of adults, the children and youth will be designing, sewing, and ironing quilts. These quilts will be donated to The Robyn's Nest. Parents can drop children off or stay for the fun! To date, the Shepherd family has worked together to create thousands of quilts for the Robyn's Nest (a Children's Hospital affiliation serving children in foster care), the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, and for La Causa (a crisis center for children ages 0-12). Our hope is to resume this fall to create quilts for children at The Robyn's Nest and LaCausa, & for patients at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center. There are many opportunities to serve! We would love for volunteers to join us on Monday afternoons as we prepare the quilts for our Kidz Konnection students to knot (no sewing experience required).
